As usual while dinner was cooking, The Heights were alerted for a
house fire at 44th St and Eads St. N.E. Units arrived with light smoke showing. 30 Engine (1st due) 17 Truck (1st due) entered the house to find a fire in the ceiling in the living room area with some extension to the attic space. 17 truck opened up while 30engine extinguished
the fire and the chief held Engine 30 truck 17 and ambulance 30 and
Car 43 (investigations).
