T-17 responded 1st due on the box from quarters immediately followed by E30 who just cleared a medical local to 4800 Jay Street N.E. BFC2, who was visiting the East End, arrived first with a 1 story wood frame single family detached house with smoke showing from the front of the structure. Initial reports of possible people trapped was quickly found to be false by a rapid primary search by T-17. Heavy fire damage in the front rooms of the house with smoke and heat damage throughout. Units remained on scene while the F.I.U. handled their investigation.
