At 0036 hours units with the 3rd battalion chief were dispatched for a reported house on fire at 2917 N St. SE in 19 Engines first due. 17 Truck responded as the second due Truck Company on the assignment. First arriving 19 Engine found a 1 ½ story single family home with fire throughout the first floor. Truck 17 arrived and was assigned to the vent group, throwing multiple ladders, assisting in opening the roof, and checking for extension throughout the home. Engine 30 was dispatched as the working fire Engine Company, laid a line and reported to side alpha where they were assigned RIT duties.
