The box was struck for the house on fire next to 4503 Eads Street N.E. The orginal assinment was E30, E27, E8, E18, E15, T17, T7, BFC2, BFC3, RS3, A30. E30 arrived shortly after the dispatch and reported a 1 story house, ordinary construction with smoke showing from all 4 sides of the house. A quick update from E30 reported heavy fire on the first floor. Engine 30's crew quickly advanced the 200' pre-connect and began making quick work of the fire that had spread throughout the entire 1st floor while Truck 17 handled ventilation, searches and controlled utilities.
