Three fires in three tours for Platoon #2...

Engine 30 & 17 Truck took in first due for the house fire in the  Branch Park section of Southeast.  Units were dispatched to 3715 O St. SE at 10:40 hours for the house fire with reports of a person trapped.  Engine 30 reported smoke showing side "A" and Truck 16 reported heavy fire on side "C"  with the back porch off and extension into the cockloft area.
The members of Engine 30 made a quick knock on the fire...  but the powers that be still went ahead and struck a "2nd alarm" for what was only  single family dwelling of ordinary construction with no extension to the exposures. On a side note, Fireman Santos finally went to a fire and couldnt find anyone to rescue. He couldnt even find anyone to claim he rescued.

They of lil' faith in the working men (and woman).

Ambulance 30 made their guest appearance on the 2nd as well.
